Erin Caite Designs is a boutique mother-daughter interior design collaboration. We are inspired by travel, classic East Coast style and beautiful prints.
Our collective vision is to create striking, timeless rooms that conjure classic charm for today’s relaxed, all-purpose living spaces.
A bright, classic living room, featuring a custom-upholstered sofa, scalloped lampshades, tassled velvet pillows, a garden-trellis rug, and pooled butter-yellow drapes, all inspired by California sunshine, and the fresh flowers of the treasured Marc Chagall framed artwork that anchors the room.
We love scouting for antiques near home, and picking up new finds abroad. Some of our favorite pieces have come from travels to France, India, Nepal, Portugal, England, Zambia, Greece and beyond.
Laurie collects trinket boxes from travel destinations like Myanmar, Russia and China.
Erin collects embroidered pillows from woman-owned businesses in Mexico, Kenya, Morocco and Laos.
Caite, a Medieval art historian, collects frameable art prints, with a fond eye toward anything floral.
Tess collects historic maps and classic barware, including steins from her annual trips to Bavaria.
A custom changing table, handpainted in London, anchors a baby boy’s nursery, beneath whimsical vintage French animal prints.
